The Wildlife of Sussex – EG Memorial Estate Event

On the evening of Tuesday, 22 September 2026 East Grinstead Memorial Estate (EGMEL), the charity which owns much of the East Court Estate and Ashplats Wood, will be hosting a Nature Talk at St Swithun’s Church, East Grinstead.

EGMEL has invited Michael Blencowe, “The Sussex Naturalist”, to come and talk about “The Wildlife of Sussex”. Michael is a very well-known and popular wildlife guide in our area and beyond.

The proceeds from ticket sales (£5.00 plus small handling fee) will be donated by EGMEL to the St. Swithun’s Restoration Trust, a charity which raises funds for the preservation, repair and maintenance of St Swithun’s, the parish church of East Grinstead, which boasts a history of more than one thousand years.
