Supporting Greenaway Foundation

The Greenaway Foundation is the EGBA’s current charity partner. Founded in 2010 by local estate agency, Greenaway Residential (which donates over 10% of company profits to the charity), it helps financially-challenged families in the local area with much-needed support.

 These are families who often ‘fly under the radar’ from receiving formal help. They are brought to the charity’s attention through local schools and we aim to alleviate the stress and anxiety children can experience in a school setting. The charity can help with school uniforms, food and travel, and even school trips.

 The Foundation comes into its own at Christmas, often a stressful time for financially-stretched households, when it provides each family with all the ingredients they need to cook a two-course festive meal. Children can make a wish for a gift up to the value of £25, delivered to them on Christmas Eve.

For Christmas 2023 900 families received Christmas meal ingredients, and over 1,600 children received their wish.

The Foundation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation and is registered at the Charity Commission in England with registered charity number 1187817. Registered office Boscobel House, 109 High Street, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 1DD.
