Felbridge and Sunnyside Cricket Club badge

Founded in 1893, Felbridge & Sunnyside Cricket Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CH10503) whose aim is to foster and promote the sport of cricket at all levels within the community and within the sport. It provides opportunities for recreation, coaching and competition with emphasis on junior and senior development regardless of age or ability in an enjoyable and friendly environment.

The club fields four Saturday teams in the 1st Central Sussex Cricket League, two Sunday teams and a mid-week team. The club boasts a thriving Junior Section of some 140 boys and girls covering eight age groups, managed by ECB qualified coaches. The club offers members the opportunity to develop positive self-esteem and realise core life values through playing cricket.

A busy social calendar is maintained including Quiz Nights, Barbeques, Lunches and Theme evenings, facilitated by a comfortable Bar area.

Other aims and objectives are:

– To ensure that all members, playing and non-playing, abide by the ECB Code of Conduct which incorporates the Spirit of Cricket and the Laws of Cricket.

– To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club by adopting and implementing the ECB ‘Safe Hands – Cricket’s Policy for Safeguarding Children’.

– To ensure a duty of care to all members of the club by adopting and implementing the ECB Cricket Equity Policy.

An exciting new project is underway in replacing the existing club Pavilion with a state-of-the-art new Community Clubhouse. The current Pavilion is over 50 years old and does not meet the needs of modern living or current England & Wales Cricket Board criteria. The design plans are complete, and the club is now preparing submission for Planning permission.

The club is Sport England Club Mark accredited
