Future options for West Sussex councils – have your say!

Councils across West Sussex are setting out options for how local authorities in the county can be organised in the future in an effort to streamline local government.

Sussex has been included in the so-called ‘Devolution Priority Programme’ and the government is seeking views from interested parties, including local residents, businesses, and public sector bodies across Sussex.

There are several options on the table for government to consider which are outlined in the submission.

The consultation will consider questions such as the proposed geographies and how the new authorities will operate. Deadline for submission is 11:59pm on 13 April 2025.
