Prestigious Gold Award: Community Woodland of the Year
We are thrilled to share the news that EGBA member, William Robinson Gravetye Charity (WRGC), has been honoured with the Royal Forestry Society’s GOLD Award for Community Woodland of the Year 2026 🏆.
This recognition is a testament to the hard work, passion and collaboration of everyone involved in managing, nurturing and protecting Gravetye Estate for people and wildlife.
Over 1,000 volunteers of all ages and abilities have gifted their time over the last four years – including young people from Imberhorne and Sackville, children from local primary schools, local families and staff from companies including Faversham House and LexisNexis Solutions.
We applaud you all and the positive impact you have made in our High Weald woodland landscape and for biodiversity 👏.
WRGC would like to thank the Royal Forestry Society for this incredible honour.
