Have you heard of Healthwatch, the Consumer Watchdog for health and social care?

Healthwatch West Sussex is an independent service available to businesses and their employees providing advice and guidance on all aspects of local health and social care issues County-wide.

Mid Sussex District Council is supporting HealthWatch West Sussex by contacting local business to build awareness of their activities across the District. To explain more about the service, Healthwatch West Sussex will visit your business and talk to staff. They also offer a free Independent Health Complaints Advocacy that can give practical help with any NHS complaint.

Healthwatch West Sussex is running a Burgess Hill Engagement and Listening Tour during September and October and would like to work with businesses, particularly large employers to gain some insight into working age health and wellbeing issues locally.

To become involved, please contact Caroline Whiteman at Healthwatch West Sussex on 07580 330416.
