Keeping Workers and Audiences Safe During Covid-19

A document has been prepared by the Events Industry Forum with input from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and in consultation with Public Health England (PHE) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). It provides guidance for  employers, employees, volunteers and the self-employed, and their customers and attendees, in the outdoor event industry in England to understand how to work safely during the COVID-19 pandemic, keeping as many people as possible socially distanced from outside their household or support bubble, and in line with the latest government regulations

The report is free to access online with pre-registration.

Permitted outdoor events currently include …

Air Shows
Agricultural Shows (including town and country shows)
Carnivals, funfairs, fetes, steam rallies and community fairs
Car boot sales
Display and performing arts including street art events
Firework displays
Flower shows and gardening events
Historical re-enactment events
Literature fairs/festivals
Pet and animal shows
Some music concerts
Outdoor theatres and performing arts
