As the economy starts to re-open the Government-backed loans with those snappy acronyms CBILS, CLBILS and BBLS (see below for the full names) close for new applications from 31 March. They will be replaced by a new Recovery Loan Scheme which will open for applications from Tuesday 6 April and will run until 31 December 2021 to ensure businesses who need it can continue to access support over the months ahead.

Many have found that access to these funds has been critical to the survival of their business during the pandemic.
