Cybercrime is happening

South East Cyber is a group of like-minded security professionals from government, industry and academia.

Established in 2014 they and other organisations such as Sussex Police work hard to develop resilience against cybercrime and to introduce perpetrators to the criminal justice system.

South East Cyber, a GCHQ certified training provider, have an afternoon session at the Sussex Innovation Centre, Falmer, Brighton on 15 November.

MSDC Business Grants

I’m pleased to report that a number of local businesses were supported by MSDC this year.

Although this fund is now closed we look forward to additional funding for the 2019/20 year and being able to support an even greater number of companies from East Grinstead and surrounding villages.

Major investments in East Grinstead

The past week has seen the official opening of the long-awaited Travelodge and the sales and marketing suite for the Queens Walk development.

A recent edition of The Hotelier magazine reports Travelodge to be actively looking for sites in both Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill.
