There’s still time (just!) to support More Radio’s Ten Thousand Tins campaign

Over the past few years EGBA member, More Radio has looked to collect Ten Thousand Tins of food annually for food banks and charities across Sussex …

It continues to be a challenging and uncertain time for all of us, with a continuing rise in the cost of living, and many families are struggling to make ends meet. One in five people in the UK live below the poverty line, many of whom rely on foodbanks to get by and feed their families.

Our annual Ten Thousand Tins campaign has been one way in which we’ve tried to help those families, and this hugely important initiative helps to support FareShare Sussex & Surrey food banks by collecting tins and raising awareness.

The campaign runs until the end of September – during this time our official drop off points in Sussex will be open for you to drop off any tins you might have to spare, or can kindly pick up and donate while doing your shopping.
