Update from Network Rail

Dear Stakeholder,

As October begins, I wanted to send you a reminder of the upcoming weekend closures on the Brighton Main Line. A press release was issued today which you may see reported in the local media.

Should you wish to raise awareness among your employees and customers, please continue to use our business stakeholder kit which is available at https://brightonmainline.co.uk/information-for-business/

During the recent line closure on 08 September, no passenger numbers needed to be suppressed and all passengers travelling to Brighton were successfully transferred by train via Littlehampton or by bus. We will continue to monitor this each weekend to ensure that leisure travellers and tourists can continue to reach the Sussex Coast. We are committed to ensuring that we play our part in keeping the Sussex coast open for business.
